Five children from Europe were invited to put their questions to the famous multilingual astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti. All the girls had previously attended Inspiring Girls workshops and were excited to be able to put their questions to Samantha Cristoforetti, who was at the time on her second mission to the ISS.

Here’s a short extract of Dhanya’s questions to Samantha who was answering from space!!!

Dhanya wanted to know what subjects she needs to study at school to become an astronaut, what Cristoforetti's favourite activity on the ISS is and how the ISS is actually controlled. She also asked how Cristoforetti knows when she has to sleep and how exactly she sleeps in space. You can watch the full interview here.
